Tatiana Jones and Trevion Lamar were named Northern Oklahoma College Student Athletes of the Week for Jan. 14.

Jones is a sophomore from West Palm Beach, Florida, while Lamar is a sophomore from Savannah, Georgia.

In two games, Jones averaged 14 points and six rebounds while shooting 71 percent from the field.

"Tatiana is shooting high percentages from the post area and hitting the boards hard," said Lady Mavs head coach Greg Krause. Her work in the middle is very important for us as we move into conference play."

Lamar averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in three games since Christmas break.

"Trevion has been our leading scorer and a leader on our team this year," said head coach Donnie Jackson said of Lamar, who signed with Georgia Southern this fall.
