WARNER, Oklahoma -- NOC dropped its first conference road game last Thursday 68-62 to Connors.
NOC (7-4) is now 1-1 in conference play.
Sophomore Trevion Lamar led the Mavs with 28 points while Deon Berrien added 18. Lamar also added eight rebounds while Berrien added seven. Mike Downing also had eight rebounds for the Mavs.
"We just didn't make enough plays down the stretch," said head coach Donnie Jackson. "We also didn't have the kind of scoring balance that we need going forward."
Only five Mavericks scored against the Cowboys.
