Lamar, Perry sign letters of intent

Northern Oklahoma College sophomores Trevion Lamar and Keiodre Perry signed with Georgia Southern and Jacksonville State respectively on Nov. 15, the first day athletes could sign letter of intent.

Lamar, a 6-5 guard from Savannah, Georgia, is averaging 16.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while Perry, from Covington, Georgia, is averaging 14.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest.

"I'm so proud of Trevion and Keiodre for signing early," said Mavs head coach Donnie Jackson.  "Both worked extremely hard to receive these opportunities as it is very tough to pull early scholarship offers.  That speaks volumes for the kind of seasons they had as freshman."

"Both schools were the right fit for both of these young men," Jackson added.  "I am excited to see what they do in their next step at the next level once they finish off their careers as NOC Mavs."
