The Northern Oklahoma College Mavericks opened the home season Tuesday night with an 89-52 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan JV at Foster Piper Fieldhouse.
Trevion Lamar led the Mavs with 16 points while Keiodre Perry added 12 points and Elafayette Stone 10.
The Mavs led Wesleyan by just three points at halftime 35-32 but then outscored the guests 54-20 in the second half.
Perry led the Mavs with 10 rebounds while Demaree King added nine assists and Omar Boone seven steals.
The Mavs and Lady Mavs host the Maverick Classic Friday and Saturday at Foster Piper Fieldhouse against Allen County on Friday and Cowley College Saturday.
