Mavs rout Redlands in Region 2 Quarterfinals

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma --  Trevion Lamar had 21 points to lead six Mavericks in double figures in an 87-64 rout of Redlands in the Region 2 Quarterfinals in Shawnee at OBU Thursday afternoon.

NOC (24-7) will face NEO (21-8) in the semi-finals Friday at 8 p.m.

The Mavs led wire to wire Thursday afternoon building a 43-27 halftime lead and were never threatened.

"I thought we really came out with an aggressive attacking mindset," said head coach Donnie Jackson.  "Amir (Allen) really set the tone early.  We did an excellent job of sticking to our defensive game plan.  We made guys we keyed on take tough contested shots.  Now, it's all about surviving and advancing."

Amir Allen had 14 points in 15 minutes for the Mavs while Keiodre Perry had 13 and Deon Berrien 12.  Demaree King and Anselm Uzuegbunem added 10 points each.
