The NOC Mavericks lost at Redlands 95-82 Monday night.

The loss dropped the Mavs to 21-6 on the year and 10-3 in conference play.

"Our defensive effort was poor all night long," said NOC head coach Donnie Jackson.  "We came into the game giving up only 56 points per game our last three and to give up 95 was a complete lack of concentration and effort."

"Maybe this game will help us refocus, you hate to lose but sometimes lessons are learned in losses.  Give Redlands credit they competed and wanted this game more than we did."

Freshman Trevion Lamar led the Mavs with 27 points and 12 rebounds.  Lamar was 10 of 20 from the field and 3 of 6 from 3-point range.

Allen added eight boards for NOC.  Austin-Johnson added five assists.

The Mavs are at Eastern Friday at 5 p.m.
