Ten NOC Maverick men scored Tuesday in a 104-42 rout of Southwestern Kansas JV at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse in Tonkawa.
Tuesday's win improved NOC to 5-2 on the year. NOC has won five straight.
"I thought the guys improved over this home stand," said head coach Donnie Jackson. "We are moving the ball better and guys are more comfortable in their new roles. The competition level is about to step up and we still need to improve defensively. I'm happy that everyone got to play."
The outcome of Tuesday's game was never in doubt as NOC jumped out to a 14-0 lead. Southwestern JV didn't score until the 13:48 mark of the first half.
Omar Boone led five Mavericks in double figures with 23 points while Trevion Lamar, Anselm Uzuegbunem and Keiodre Perry had 13 points each. Amir Allen also reached double figures with 11.
NOC led 54-20 at half. The largest lead was 67 points at 104-37 on a Brandon Combs follow shot.
