Northern Oklahoma College Maverick Cheer signed Blackwell High School's Melessa Iniguez for the 2019-20 academic year this past week.

Iniguez has cheered at Blackwell High School all four years of her high school cheer career. 

"Melessa (Iniguez) is a fantastic flyer and her small size makes her quite an asset to the 2019-2020 team," said NOC cheer coach Karri Morrill.

"We just hope she's not afraid of heights," Morrill joked, "Because she will be our top top girl of pyramids this coming season.  Melessa has been very excited to learn new skills at open gym which means she is a coachable athlete."
