Carson Taylor's 8th inning single scored Ethan Rossi and Rick Requejo with the go-ahead run in a 9-7 win over #11 Western on Thursday.

Matthew Stancliff, Blade Carver, Luke Shannahan, Ethan Rossi, and Rick Requejo has two hits each, Shannahan had three runs batted in.

Logan Taylor earned the win working 3.1 innings of scoreless relief while striking out six.  Nakni Anna started for the Mavs allowing two earned runs over 5.2 innings.

The Mavs (32-15) improved to 13-9 in conference while Western (30-13, 15-6) host Western in a Friday doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
