ENID, Oklahoma -- NOC Tonkawa dropped two conference games at NOC Enid Saturday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Mavs (25-13) is 8-7 in conference while NOC Enid improved to (25-11) improved to 12-3 in league action.

In Game 1, the Mavs jumped out to a 5-0 first inning lead but couldn't hold on losing 10-6.

Elijah Laus had a home run and two runs batted in for the Mavs.

Matthew Stancliff, Larry Edwards, Jr., Landen Johnson, Ethan Rossi, Blade Carver, and Ethan Starks had one hit each.

Logan Taylor, David Brown, Carson Loyd, and Jakeb Koop worked from the mound for NOC.

In Game 2, the Mavs trailed 10-2 before rallying for six runs in the 9th inning in a 10-8 loss.

Stancliff, Johnson, and Carver had two hits each, Johnsona and Shannahan had two runs batted in each.

NOC scored six runs on four hits in the 9th with Johnson and Shannahan's doubles keying in the inning.

Brenden Carter, Liam McKinney, Caleb Lunnon, and Brenden Kamnick pitched for the Mavs.

The Mavs are at Redlands Thursday for a nine inning conference game Thursday.
