EL RENO, Oklahoma --  Trevin Michael pitched a five inning no-hitter and the Northern Oklahoma College Mavs belted seven home runs in a double header sweep of Redlands in El Reno.

The #12 NOC Mavs (38-9) improved to 9-3 in Region 2 play.  The Mavs are in second place two games behind Western.

Mavs 14, Redlands 0

Sophomore Trevin Michael (6-1) struck out eight and walked four in his five inning no-hitter.  Michael had all the offensive support he would need in the second inning as the Mavs plated seven runs following that outburst with four more in the 3rd inning.

Joey Pena belted two home runs while Ben MacNaughton and Cacy Harper also homered.

MacNaughton had six runs batted in while Harper and Pena had four runs batted in each.

Pena had three hits while Pena, Harper, Cale Francis and Austin Glock had two hits each.

Mavs 22, Redlands 6

The Mavs continued their onslaught in Game 2 rallying from a 6-0 deficit scoring 22 runs in four innings in a 22-6 win over Redlands.

The biggest inning was the 6th when the Mavs scored 11 runs sending  17 men to the plate.

On the afternoon, Harper had two home runs while Jaken Snider added one.  Luke Quick had two triples and a double while Cale Francis had two doubles and a triple.  Both had four hits for the Mavs.

Francis and Snider had four runs batted in each while Harper had three runs batted in.  Dominick Trevino had three hits while Eric Gutierrez added two.

Ethan Wilson (7-1) earned the win in relief of Seth Martin.
