Northern Oklahoma College Mavs baseball split a double header with Des Moines Area Community College Thursday afternoon.
NOC (7-1-1) won the opener 6-2 and dropped the night cap 16-6.
Sophomore Tyler Kisner (3-0) tossed six innings in Game 1 allowing just one earned run. He struck out nine tossing 101 pitches.
Cacy Harper had two doubles and a home run with two runs batted in scoring two runs. Ashton Francis also scored two runs for the Mavs.
Des Moines dominated the second game 16-6, the Mavs made seven errors and allowed seven unearned runs.
The Mavs had 11 hits, Joey Pena had a double and four runs batted in. Ben MacNaughton had three hits and scored two runs for NOC.
Seth Martin started for the Mavs allowing four earned runs in three innings.
