Eric Gutierrez and Seth Martin were honored as Mavs Baseball Student Athletes of the Week while Aylin Nunez was named NOC Softball Student Athlete of the Week.

Gutierrez is a sophomore from Westmoore High School while Martin is a freshman from Ft. Gibson.  Nunez is a freshman from Pauls Valley.

Gutierrez had eight hits and 12 runs batted in over the weekend as the Mavs won three games from Ellsworth College.  He had a home run and a double.

Martin picked up a win against Ellsworth on Saturday allowing just two earned runs in five innings in a 16-6 Mavs win.  Martin struck out nine and walked two.

Nunez had nine hits in NOC's five games at the Cowtown Classic in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She scored nine runs and stole four bases from the Mavs leadoff spot.
