Coach Bay earns 500th career win Tuesday

NOC Tonkawa coach Ryan Bay earned his 500th career coaching win Tuesday as the 10th ranked Mavs swept Randall University JV in Tonkawa.

NOC (35-8-1) rallied to win the first game 6-4 and then smoked the visitors 16-1 in the second game.

In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 4-2 going to the fifth when NOC rallied for three runs to take a 5-4 lead.

Cale Francis homered and then an Austin Glock double gave the Mavs a 5-4 lead.  Joey Pena then homered in the sixth to give the Mavs an insurance run in their 6-4 win.

Zac Brown started for the Mavs allowing one earned run over three innings.  Britt Brown then tossed four innings of hitless relief striking out five.

In Game 2, the Mavs offense came to life scoring eight runs in two separate innings in the 16-1 win.

Dylan Lang had a double and home run for the Mavs driving home four rbi's.  Cale Francis also homered, his second of the day while Pablo Oden had a double and four rbi's.  Gabe Griffith added three rbi's as well.

Four Mavs pitchers saw time in the second game, Tyler Kisner started and struck out five in two innings of work.  Albert Baez, Ricardo Bones and Jeremy Sawyer threw one inning each.
