HUTCHINSON, Kansas – NOC traveled to Hutchinson, Kansas for a non-conference game Monday losing to the Blue Dragons 15-5.
3rd ranked in NJCAA Division II NOC (30-6-1) out hit the NJCAA Division I Blue Dragons 10-8 but issued 12 walks and hit two batters.
Joey Pena had two hits and three rbi's for the Mavs while Rhett Rutledge, Dominick Trevino and Dylan Lang had two hits. Leadoff hitter Kade Marlatt scored two runs
Jack Edmunson started for the Mavs pitching two hitless innings. Mav relievers finished the game with Zac Brown, Britt Brown, Keegan Collett, Albert Baez and Jeremy Sawyer pitching out of the bullpen.
NOC will be in action Thursday at home against NOC Enid with a twin bill starting at 1 p.m.
