TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma --  In a long day of baseball Sunday at Murray State, the NOC Mavs  split a regularly scheduled double header and lost the completion of  a suspended game from Thursday.

NOC (30-5-1) won the first game Sunday 13-10 and lost the night cap 10-9 to Murray State (18-10).  The Mavs lost the completion of the suspended game from Thursday 15-12.

In Game 1 Sunday, freshman catcher Cacy Harper blasted two home runs and a double driving home seven runs in the 13-10 win.  Dominick Trevino also had three hits while Kade Marlatt and Chris Cloud each scored four runs.

The Mavs led 10-9 heading to the seventh when NOC plated three runs to provide breathing room.

Korde Busby was the starter and winner for the Mavs, Tanner Long pitched the final inning for the Mavs.

In Game 2 Sunday, the Mavs lost 13-10  though they out hit Murray 15-10.

Dominick Trevino and Rhett Rutledge had three hits each  while Harper added another home run, his third of the day.  Cale Francis and Chris Cloud added two hits each.

Angelo Gennari was the starter for the Mavs with relief help from Britt Brown, Chase Bridges, Tyler Kisner, Albert Baez, and Ethan Wilson.

In the suspended game from Thursday, the Mavs lost 15-13.

Gabe Griffith had four hits and five rbi's while Trevino added  three hits and four runs batted in.

NOC out hit the Aggies 18-15.

Jack Edmunson was the starter for the Mavs allowing seven runs.
