MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma – NOC improved to 6-0 Friday with a twin bill sweep of Bacone.
The Mavs won the two games 20-2 and 13-1.
Mavs 20, Bacone 2
NOC pounded 14 hits scoring 20 runs to blast Bacone 20-0.
The Mavs plated 10 runs in the 3rd inning to put the game away early.
Pablo Oden, Cacy Harper, Rhett Rutledge and Gabe Griffith had two hits each while Rutledge had four rbi's. Dominick Trevino had three rbi's for the Mavs.
Trevin Michael went five innings allowing one hit. Michael struck out seven and walked one.
Mavs 13, Bacone 1
NOC picked up where they left off in Game 1 scoring nine runs in the game's first three innings.
Chris Cloud and Evan Fulps had two hits each while Joey Pena had three rbi's. Gabe Griffith added two rbi's for the Mavs.
Jack Edmunson pitched four innings allowing just one hit. He struck out eight Bacone hitters. Albert Baez and Tyler Kisner pitched one inning each out of the Mav bullpen.
