NOC Mavericks Joey Pena and Chase Bridges were named NOC Tonkawa Baseball Players of the Week for Feb. 5.

Pena is a freshman catcher/infielder from Mustang while Bridges is a freshman pitcher from Sterling.

In a four game sweep of Ellsworth College, Pena slugged two home runs, a triple and had 7 rbi's.  He hit .429 in the four game series.

Bridges earned a victory on the mound with 5.2 innings pitched allowing just four hits and one earned run striking out five Ellsworth hitters.
