Jordan Holman and Montrez Ward were honored this week by NOC Mavs Basketball as the Student Athletes of the Week.

Holman is a sophomore from Hugo, Oklahoma, while Ward is a sophomore from Jackson, Tennessee.

In one game last week, Holman had 32 points, 10 rebounds, shot 8 for 8 from the free throw line, and 2 for 4 from the three-point line.

"Jordan played a key role in our conference win last week," said coach Greg Krause.   "She played well in every phase of the game. Especially proud of that 8 for 8 from the free throw line. The opponent's defense will get her to the line pretty often."

Ward, the Mavs point guard, had 13 points in the Mavs win over Dallas Mountain View.
